Kaila York is an independent filmmaker with 20 years of experience in entertainment. She has produced over 15 films and has filmed on locations around the world.

Over the past seven years, Kaila has directed 11 films, many of which she also co-wrote. Her films have premiered on networks such as Lifetime, UpTV, Tubi, and Netflix.

In addition to her work in film, Kaila is a member of the advisory board of the SCAD TVfest, hosted by the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). In that role, she mentors young filmmakers and provides guidance to emerging talent. She has been invited to speak at the Savannah Film Festival, Willamette Writers Conference, Hedgebrook Masterclass, and Fairhope Film Festival.
