Kaila York is an independent filmmaker with 20 years of experience in entertainment. She has produced over 15 films and has filmed on locations around the world.

Over the past seven years, Kaila has directed 11 films, many of which she also co-wrote. Her films have premiered on networks such as Lifetime, UpTV, Tubi, and Netflix.

Beyond her directing work, Kaila is deeply committed to elevating the industry and supporting the next generation of filmmakers. She regularly leads panels and workshops on independent filmmaking, film finance, pitching, and creative development. As an advisory board member of SCAD TVfest, she mentors emerging filmmakers and provides guidance to rising talent navigating their own career paths.
